Trail of the Shadows
20 min drive. Easy 0.7 mi loop at Longmire. Hot springs, old cabins, old-growth trees.
Skyline Trail
45 min drive. The signature Rainier hike — 5.5 mi loop with panoramic summit views from Paradise.
Comet Falls
25 min drive. 3.8 mi roundtrip to a 320-foot waterfall — one of the tallest in the park.
Nisqually Vista Trail
45 min drive. Easy 1.2 mi loop at Paradise with views of the Nisqually Glacier.
Bench & Snow Lake
45 min drive. 2.5 mi to two alpine lakes with Rainier views. Wildflowers July–August.
Rampart Ridge
20 min drive. 4.6 mi loop from Longmire with sweeping valley views and old-growth forest.
Gobblers Knob
20 min drive. 6.6 mi roundtrip to a fire lookout with 360-degree views of four volcanoes.
Eagle Peak Saddle
25 min drive. 7.2 mi roundtrip, one of the best views of the Tatoosh Range. Strenuous.

Christine Falls
28 min. Stone arched bridge framing a tiered waterfall. Any season.
Narada Falls
35 min. 168-foot waterfall with a paved pullout. Rainbow on sunny mornings.
Myrtle Falls
40 min. Waterfall + flower meadow + Rainier in one frame. 0.4 mi from Paradise.
Ricksecker Point
28 min. Pullout on a one-way loop with sweeping valley and mountain views.
Tipsoo Lake
~2 hr. Wildflowers + Rainier in one frame. Peak bloom July–August. Seasonal road.

10 min. $30/vehicle (7 days) or $80 annual pass. Buy online at recreation.gov.
Longmire Village
20 min. First stop in the park. Museum, wilderness center, historic lodge.
Paradise Visitor Center
45 min. The hub of Rainier. Trailheads, ranger programs, snowshoeing.
Ashford Valley Grocery
3 min. Basics, snacks, beer, wine, firewood.
Eatonville Plaza Market
25 min. Full grocery store. Better to stock up here for a full shop.
Elbe Fuel Stop
10 min. Closest gas station to the Ashford corridor.
